Central Bedfordshire Council Car Park Expansion

Project started last week of August on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council and still has another week or so to run.

The scheme is multiple phased and consisted of;

Phase one

This phase was consisted of the verge areas being stripped of grass and topsoil before the sub base is added.

P.C.C Path edgings were installed around the perimeter of the new parking areas and the truck pave and cell web was installed as directed.

Natural block paving and HB2 kerbs was installed.

Existing kerbs were excavated and new drop kerbs and tactile crossings were installed as required.

Existing trees, plants and other vegetation was removed and relocated as directed by the CBC Ecology department.

Phase two
